The Centre

St Martin's College is a fully Authorised Test Centre for ECDL by the Computer Society of Malta and the ECDL Foundation. At St Martin's College we don't hire third parties to conduct ECDL testing but students learn and do tests within the same environment, with the same teachers, at the same school, on the same computers. This is a big advantage for all students as they will have no surprises on the day of the test.

Where is it situated

St Martin's College is situated in Swatar, opposite University. It is also near the ex Price-Club supermarket. For the benefit of all users consult the road map underneath.

Facilities

As for computer facilities, we are second to none. We are equipped with three computer labs, each sitting 14 students. The ratio of computers to students for all ECDL courses and testing is 1:1. Two computer labs are equipped with Intel Pentium 4 machines and one computer lab with Intel Pentium 3 machines. All computer labs have projecting facilities, a white board and desks. The internet connection is a shared fast 2Gb connection with a guaranteed minimum download speed f 128Kb. One Intel Dual-Xeon processor server serves all network connection and a Linux server serves as a firewall to the Internet.

Software

St Martin's College boasts a fully licenced Microsoft agreement and all machines run Windows XP and Office XP.

The Centre Manager

Mr Jason Rene' Cutajar B.Ed (Hons.) is the Centre Manager responsible for all the coordination of applications, courses, testing and certification. Queries relating to any ECDL issue should be addressed to him. Contact Mr Jason R. Cutajar

Invigilators and Testers

Two invigilators and testers manage all ECDL testing at St Martin's College. Mr Jason R Cutajar who is also the the Test Centre Manager and Mr David Cutajar.  Both invigilators and testers are employed full-time at St Martin's College and teach ICT and Computing.
